P-wave velocity models (netCDF format), South Atlantic CREST transect survey (MGL1601)

The seismic P-wave velocity grids presented here are in GMT-compatible netCDF format. Detailed modeling procedures are given in Christeson et al. (2025). The netCDF grid parameters are as follows: the x-coordinate is profile distance in km (grid interval 0.05 km), the y-coordinate is depth in km (grid interval 0.025 km), and the z-values are P-wave velocities in km/s. The data files were generated as part of projects called Evolution of South Atlantic Oceanic Crust: A Seismic Transect; and, CREST: Crustal Reflectivity Experiment Southern Transect.
