NRS-1804 | Declarations of Trustee Companies

The declarations (also known as "statistical compilations", "declarations of accounts" and "statements") contain half-yearly summaries of the liabilities, assets, amount of real and personal property administered, and investments and moneys held on trust, of the following Trustee Companies: Permanent Trustee Company of New South Wales Limited (1888-1964); Perpetual Trustee Company Limited (1892-1964); Union Trustee Company of Australia Limited (1915-61); Elder's Trustees and Executor Company Limited (1922-63); Burns Philp Trust Company Limited (1941-62) and the Executor Trustee and Agency Company of South Australia Limited (1950-56). Prior to 1 October 1925, these declarations were filed in the New South Wales Supreme Court, in Equity; after that date, pursuant to the provisions of the Transfer of Records Act, 1923, they were filed in the Bills of Sale Section of the New South Wales Registrar General's Department.
