Soil suitability card — cumulative thickness of sand

This map shows the cumulative thickness of the sand layers in the holocene subsoil in meters. This information has been used in determining the suitability of the subsurface in the province of Utrecht for (traditional) construction. For the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden, which has been part of the province of Utrecht since 1 January 2019, no data is yet available.
