Within this study, we aimed to investigate how enviornmental nitrate effects the transcription of the Vibrio cholerae genome. Here we performed RNASeq using static cultures of WT, dCrp, dHapR, & dhapR/Crp. To evaluate the transcriptional regulation of Vibrio cholerae, we performed RNASeq on mutant strains of V. cholerae O1 El Tor strain C6706. The individual samples were wild type, and those that contained in frame deletions of cyclic AMP receptor protein(CRP), hapR, and a double mutant CRP/hapR. In triplicate, we performed the experiment statically in two conditions at the same time point: those grown in LB Media, and those grown in LB media supplemented with 5mM Sodium Nitrate. Differential gene expression analysis was perfomed to obtain more data.
