Reconnaissance and delimitation of the Landscape Good Line of seashore within the meaning of Legislative Decree 42/2004, Art. 142, Paragraph 1, letter a. The reconnaissance and delimitation criteria are based on the document — Landscape planning: institutional Cooperation Activities 1 Final Report, pp. 27-32, MIBAC (Scala A., 2011). In order to digitise the seashore line, the methodology adopted provided for the photo-interpretation of orthophotos in 2007 (IT2007, ground resolution 0.5 m) and its comparison with the CTRN. Consultation of high-resolution satellite images (Google Earth and Bing Maps) and aerial bird-flight images (Cargnel and Metteusich, 2002) was used to resolve interpretative uncertainties. Finally, for the areas that were difficult to interpret through the reading of the images, the remaining uncertainties were verified on the ground with topographical precision GNSS and differential correction in real time.
