It was computed in 2024/2025 and is based on input data provided by the IAG Scientific Services of the four space geodetic techniques—VLBI, SLR, GNSS, and DORIS (IVS, ILRS, IGS, IDS)—for the DTRF2020 and the corresponding update series covering the period 2021.0–2024.0. The full observation time spans of the individual techniques used in DTRF2020-u2023 cover 30 to 44 years. The DTRF2020-u2023 update is characterized by the following improvements compared to DTRF2020 : Three more years of observation data for each technique. New stations, satellites and technically improved stations. The technique-specific input data series for the update are calculated according to the latest general and technique-specific models. This comprises the incorporation of revised GNSS receiver antenna calibration data, involving corrections to DTRF2020 station positions based on mean coordinate differences for the corresponding stations, determined and provided by the IGS, new mean range biases for SLR stations. The DTRF2020-u2023 origin is realized from the full history of SLR input series. The DTRF2020-u2023 scale is realized from the full history of VLBI and GNSS input series.
