Data set containing a bioeconomic model of a sea-based cage abalone farm in France. Performance in terms of growth of the abalone with and without IMTA grown sugar kelp were evaluated. Economic impacts of replacing wild-harvested with farmed macroalgae as feed are evaluated using cost-benefit analysis.
