""The thematic maps and geology maps of the study area are prepared by using Survey of India (SOI) toposheet (58E/3) and Geological 86 Survey of India (GSI) respectively. There are about 30 rock samples were collected and sorted based on their petrographical 87 characteristics for the XRF analsysis and spectral data collection in the wavelength range of 350 nm to 2500 nm. For the estimation 88 of density for the samples, the samples were cut in a cubic shape of 1 cm and weighed to get the mass of the samples. 89 The mapping of different lithological units was performed with atmospherically corrected ASTER VNIR and SWIR data acquired 90 from USGS Earth Explorer. The preprocessing of the ASTER data have been done by using the method mentioned in the article [2]. 91 The different band combinations, PCA, Band ratio, MNF, PPI, MF, and LSU were prepared by using ASTER data.""
