The family situation in the multi-generation family. Attitude to mutual
assistance and support needs. Topics: 1. Concepts and need for
assistance: importance of communication within the family; necessity of
consultations about family help in situations of need; having to rely
on financial aid of family members; the significance of Christmas as a
family celebration; attitude to visiting family members even without a
particular cause; attitude to retention of inheritances and gifts
within the family; attitude to family celebrations; having to rely on
the help of others with repairs, renovation jobs, dealing with
authorities, child care, in case of personal illness, to discuss
personal matters, in borrowing money and in the care of a handicapped
or frail family member. 2. Actual situation: living together with a
partner; number of children; number of persons in household; contact
for assistance in case of personal illness; borrowing and loaning money
in the circle of the family or at banks; persons outside of the family
who can be of help in the household, with trips to government offices
and in child care; Christmas celebrations actually conducted with
certain persons; regularly meeting with other family members; regular
communication with family members; persons from whom one can expect
financial support in case of need;financial support regularly received
from family members; financial support personally provided to others;
receipt of inheritance or gift; inheriting material assets; persons
continually in need of care in the circle of family and relatives;
perception of other persons asking too much in the solution of
problems; consultations in the circle of the family about
responsibility for help in situations of need; year of birth and month
of birth; employment status; residential status; net household income
and personal net income; personal health problems and those of partner;
leisure behavior; religiousness; personal religious affiliation and
