Various hydrocarbons have been used to stimulate the habitat microbes in chloroethene-contaminated groundwater, although the potential risk of the grown microbes has rarely investigated. This study, for the first time, investigated the effects of seven hydrocarbons on the TCE dechlorination by the augmented Dehalococcoides mccartyi NIT01 and the contribution to the potential of microbial risk.
