The survey is an attempt to crystallize determinant factors in consumer behaviour as regards dissatisfaction and grounds for complaint. It examines whether individual consumers experience any dissatisfaction in certain actual situations when shopping or dealing with public authorities, etc., whether complaints are filed, and whether the consumers find ways of solving their problems. Information concerning these aspects of consumer behaviour is vital to instruction and research on consumer behaviour as well as to present and future boards of appeal, etc. The survey is among the first of its kind in Europe
