A project aimed at characterizing strain SK1 of Leptospira interrogans serovar Copenhageni, isolated from a dog with severe leptospirosis in the Caribbean island of Saint Kitts. The project was conducted by Dr. Sree Rajeev, during her tenure at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Whole genome sequencing, assembly and annotation was done in collaboration with the Bioinformatics Lab of INDICASAT AIP, Panama.
