The current dataset contains the data utilised to perform the analyses on thermal mappings obtained by UAS flights on the Phlegrean Fields volcano (Italy), in particular in the area of Pisciarelli. The aim was to collect all the available information of the thermal anomalies and of other relative parameters (such as the heat flux). We are exploring the possibility of mid-range remote sensing of the thermal properties of the soil using UASs. Here we have extract the hot part of the thermal mapping from the cold background. This is shown to be a challenging task as it is not simple to separate the two mapping components. We have developed a method based on segmenting and clustering algorithms developed for image analysis. We have tried to use the same approach to understand if it was possible to extract the time evolution of some physical parameters from the acquired data. We have found that our methods as some future developments and we are currently working to improve the results. The uploaded files contain: PisciarelliUAS.2019-2023.mappings.csv the Comma Separated Values file containig, for each mapping, all the additional data (time, temperature, relative humidity etc) needed to perform the analysis. PisciarelliUAS.2019-2023.input.tar.bz2 this tarball contains all the input mappings used for the analysis. Not all the mappings have been used, only those acquired in the night time PisciarelliUAS.2019-2023.output.tar.bz2 this tarball contains all the analysed data: output mappings with clustering information, summary files for each mapping, all the images returned by the software and all the outputs of the time evolution analysis The software utilised to perform the analyses can be found via the related DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.10551647.All the data have been used in the publication "Clusterization and temporal trends of heat flux by UAS thermal camera" by Marotta et. al, on Remote Sensing.
