Consultation zones of Seveso establishments in Flanders

Seveso establishments are establishments with large quantities of dangerous substances on their premises that fall within the scope of the Seveso Directive on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances. The consultation zones represent the maximum distances up to which the effects of the Seveso establishments extend and within which (developments in) the environment may also have an impact on the Seveso establishments. Concretely, this is the area from the Seveso site boundary within which spatial development plans must be submitted to the External Security Team for advice. These data shall be updated on a quarterly basis. Concretely, this means that the publication will take place in the second week of January, March, June and September.
