资源简介:

This dataset contains the de-identified individual-level analytic data underlying the study “Fecal intestinal alkaline phosphatase levels in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus and normal glucose tolerance: A multicentre cross-sectional study in Bangladesh.” The study included 198 pregnant women, of whom 55 were classified as having gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and 143 as having normal glucose tolerance (NGT) according to the 2013 WHO criteria. The public-use dataset includes demographic and anthropometric variables, blood pressure, parity, and selected obstetric and diabetes-related history, fasting, 1-hour, and 2-hour plasma glucose measurements from the 75-g oral glucose tolerance test, GDM/NGT classification, fecal intestinal alkaline phosphatase (IAP) activity, and exploratory IAP-deficiency categories. Direct identifiers and potentially identifying research information, including participant names, addresses, telephone numbers, original study identifiers, and exact last-menstrual-period dates, have been removed. Records were assigned new anonymous study identifiers. The dataset is provided in CSV and SPSS SAV formats. A data dictionary describing variable names, units, coding, and missing-data information is included. These data support the descriptive analyses, comparisons of fecal IAP between GDM and NGT groups, logistic regression analyses, log₂-transformed sensitivity analysis, and exploratory receiver operating characteristic analysis reported in the manuscript. One 1-hour OGTT measurement is missing in the source analytic dataset; this missing value has been retained rather than imputed.
