WELDING TECHNOLOGY OF AUTOMOBILE WHEELS IN A SHIELDING GAS ENVIRONMENT

Abstract: This thesis discusses the technology of welding automobile wheels in a shielding gas environment and its significance in modern automotive manufacturing and repair. Automobile wheels operate under dynamic loads, vibrations, and impact forces; therefore, welded joints must possess high strength and reliability. Shielding gas welding technologies, particularly MIG/MAG welding, ensure high-quality weld formation, reduce welding defects, and improve production efficiency. The study analyzes the technological parameters influencing weld quality and the advantages of shielding gas welding in wheel manufacturing.
