Dataset for: Cardiometabolic and Systemic Comorbidities in Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia — Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

This dataset contains the study-level data and analytic inputs used for the systematic review and random-effects meta-analysis titled “Cardiometabolic and Systemic Comorbidities in Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia.”

The dataset includes extracted case–control data (number of cases, number of controls, events in cases and controls), calculated odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals, and derived effect size metrics used for pooled analyses. Variables necessary to reproduce prevalence estimates and association meta-analyses are provided in structured CSV format.

Data were extracted from eligible observational studies identified through systematic searches of MEDLINE and Embase through June 2025. All analyses were conducted using random-effects models.

This repository enables full reproducibility of the quantitative synthesis reported in the Brief Report submitted to the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
