Forest classification in Saxony — Stocks with data from the forest database on tree species of the shelter

The data set contains the stocks as the smallest forestry economic unit in the Free State of Saxony. Ownership type, forestry company number, address of the forest part, department number, subdivision number, partial area number, stock (main stock, ancillary stock), stock address, type of use, forest district number, area number, reference date of the forest facility, department address, subdepartment address, sub-area address and differentiating whether it is forest or non-forestry farm area or wood floor and non-wood floor according to the Saxon Forest Act (SächsWaldG). In addition, the data of the forest database on tree species of the shelter are included. Forest economic units are formed within the framework of the forestry facility for each forest operation and updated on the deadline. The data collected, the so-called basic forest data, are the basis for the economic use of the forest. They are stored in the forest database as well as in geoinformation systems and visualised in various maps of the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
