Prevalence of Malaria in Mahuta Community, Katsina State, Nigeria

This study investigates the prevalence of malaria in Mahuta Community, Katsina State, Nigeria. Malaria remains one of the major public health challenges in many parts of Nigeria, especially in rural communities where access to preventive measures and healthcare services is limited. The study was conducted through a survey and laboratory examination of selected participants in the community to determine the occurrence of malaria infection.Data were collected and analyzed to identify the rate of malaria infection and possible factors contributing to its spread. The findings of this research highlight the level of malaria prevalence in the study area and emphasize the importance of improved malaria control strategies such as the use of insecticide-treated nets, environmental sanitation, early diagnosis, and effective treatment.This research contributes to the understanding of malaria distribution at the community level and provides useful information that may assist public health authorities and researchers in designing better malaria prevention and control programs in rural areas of Nigeria.
