ChickenGTEx is an important component of the Farm Animal Genotype-Tissue Expression (FarmGTEx) project. It aims to construct a comprehensive public catalog of genetic regulatory variants associated with diverse transcriptomic phenotypes in chickens across various biological contexts. This database contains multiple types of data including gene expression, exon expression, long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) expression, 3'UTR alternative polyadenylation, alternative splicing, and variant QTLs, providing valuable references for basic biological research on development, immune response, tissue/cell type specificity and other related research directions.
