Investment in 5G by EU telco firms 2019-2021 with forecasts until 2025

Investment by EU telecommunications firms in 5G technology stood at a cumulative total of 7.1 billion euros in 2021, with a yearly investment of 1.7 billion euros. Yearly investment in 5G is forecast to increase year-on-year to 15 billion euros by 2025, while the total cumulative investment is projected to reach 58 billion euros.
