Terpenes influence the flavor and aroma of grapes and their derivatives while providing protection against radiation, oxidative stress, and biotic threats. Vitis vinifera cv. 'Gamay Freaux' berry cell suspensions were treated with the phytohormone jasmonate (JA) and cyclodextrins to generate transcriptomic data for investigating the regulatory mechanism by which JA enhances terpene content in grape berries.
