ABSTRACT These data tables contain the laboratory-derived values for photosynthetic parameters (Pmax, alpha, and dark respiration) for 22 taxa of understory macroalgae and juvenile Macrocystis pyrifera. Photosynthetic parameters can be combined with in situ data on algal abundance and irradiance to estimate net primary production for the understory macroalgal community.
