Survey On Participation In the Workplace, 2009

On behalf of the Ministry of Labor and Social Inclusion, the project has investigated the extent to which corporate democratic schemes have been established in Norwegian working life. Secondly, what the various schemes are used for, whether the Norwegian employees have an influence on their own work situation, the organization of work and on the structure and functioning of the companies. The project has also looked at the effects of the schemes on management, organization and to a limited extent efficiency on Norwegian workplaces. The quantitative survey is a survey with structured questions for employees and managers, and with a special question battery for union representatives and managers. Statistics Norway carried out sample drawing, broadcasting and data collection, as well as preparation of statistics files. A questionnaire was sent to a sample from Statistics Norway's Aa register.
