资源简介:
This dataset contains the input python scripts and the output data for a simulation of fate and transport of natural gas seep bubbles during the Gulf Integrated Spill Research (GISR) G08 cruise at Mississippi Canyon, lease block 118 (MC118) using the Texas A&M Oilspill Calculator (TAMOC). The GISR G08 cruise was conducted from 2015-04-09 to 2015-04-21 in the northern Gulf of Mexico on the E/V Nautilus cruise NA056 using the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) Hercules. A total of five simulations were conducted for five individual ROV dives. For one dive, diffusivity was varied. Model results include bubble time, bubble diameter, position, slip velocity, and density. Other related datasets are also available at GRIIDC under different Unique Dataset Identifiers (UDIs): R1.x137.000:0026 (DOI: 10.7266/N79K48TN; transport of bubbles with isotopic ratio calculations), R1.x137.130:0016 (DOI: 10.7266/N7GF0RF5; stereoscopic high-speed imagery of seeps), and R1.x137.130:0017 (DOI: 10.7266/N79C6VB3; ROV video imagery of seeps at the site). This dataset supports the publication: Wang, B., Jun, I., Socolofsky, S. A., DiMarco, S. F., & Kessler, J. (2020). Dynamics of gas bubbles from a submarine hydrocarbon seep within the hydrate stability zone. Geophysical Research Letters. doi:10.1029/2020gl089256.
