This dataset presents spatially distributed land use type data for Nimu County, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region, in 2016. It is vector data containing attribute fields such as land code and land type. The land types are categorized at the secondary level into paddy fields, drylands, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glaciers and snow cover, tidal flats, floodplains, urban land, rural settlements, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali land, marshes, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land is classified based on landform into paddy fields and drylands in mountainous areas, hilly areas, plains, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The data scale is 1:100,000.
