Performance of Real-Time PPP with Trimble RTX correction service for geo-dynamic monitoring
收藏资源简介:
This dataset originates from an evaluation study of Trimble Inc.'s patented CenterPoint RTX real-time GNSS correction service, conducted through a comparative analysis with the conventional single-baseline RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) technique. The investigation involved a series of controlled field experiments specifically designed to assess the suitability of the RTX method for real-time geodetic monitoring of seismically or volcanically active zones, landslide-prone areas, and critical engineering structures. Emphasis was placed on the system’s capability to detect and quantify displacements of varying amplitude and velocity. During the tests, a geodetic-class GNSS antenna was simultaneously connected to two receivers, each operating in RTX and RTK mode respectively. Controlled 3D displacements were introduced using a micrometric translation sled and a telescopic rod to simulate realistic movement scenarios. The dataset is organized into clearly separated RTX and RTK data ASCII files. For each configuration, the data are provided in: complete NMEA format; processed ENU (East-North-Up) coordinate time series, evaluated for each session across three experimental categories: 1. Moderate Rate of Displacement, 2. Rapid Displacement, and 3. Blackout Test (simulating signal or correction interruptions). In total, 108 measurement sessions were conducted, resulting in 286,116 one-second observations, offering a rich and structured dataset for performance assessment and further methodological development in high-precision GNSS applications.
