Cartographic meshes

The Cartographic Meshes used by the Diputación Foral de Álava (DFA) for the distribution of its cartographic sheets are based on what is ordered by REAL DECREE 1071/2007, of July 27, which regulates the official geodetic reference system in Spain, more specifically, in the Annex that refers to the Distribution and determination of MTN50 sheets (National Topographic Map 1/50,000 scale) in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. In this way, the distribution of the sheets of the MTN50 (map at 1/50,000 scale) is ordered, and from these, the sheets at 1/5,000 scale and the sheets at 1/500 scale, the latter two being the ones that are worked on in DFA. Reference system: ETRS89. Projection system: UTM spindle 30N. Storage format: SHP.
