Dataset for the development of the analyses in the manuscript: "Habitat diversity mitigates the impacts of human pressure on stream biodiversity".

In this document you can find the data used to produce the analyses of the manuscript entitled: "Habitat diversity mitigates the impacts of human pressure on stream biodiversity". The data are from streams distributed across the conterminous US. The analyses are divided into three parts: (i) investigating the relationship of habitat diversity with fish and insect biodiversity and whether these relationships vary by ecoregion. (ii) analyze the interaction between habitat diversity and human pressure and how this affects fish and insect biodiversity. In particular, whether habitat diversity mitigates the impacts of human pressure on biodiversity. (iii) conduct structural equation modeling to investigate the impact of human pressure on habitat diversity and how this affects fish and insect biodiversity
