Amplicon sequencing analysis of 16S rRNA gene of SCN-degrading consortium

16S rRNA gene reads obtained by MiSeq amplicon sequencing of SCN-degrading consortium. SCN-degrading consortium (granular or planktonic biomass) was obtained by subculturing activated sludge sample in inorganic media containing SCN. After subculturing, a SCN-degrading bacterium, Thiohalobacter thiocyanaticus FOKN1, was finally obtained by serial dilution method. The following 10 biomass were subjected to amplicon sequencing; inoculum (activated sludge), granular biomass after 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th subculturing, planktonic biomass after 3rd, 4th, 8th subculturing, and Thiohalobacter thiocyanaticus FOKN1 culture obtained by serial dilution.
