Phylogenomics of Australo-Pacific reed warbler species Acrocephalus spp.

Phylogenomic study sampling 129 individuals representing all Australo-Pacific reed warbler species (Acrocephalus spp.), excluding extinct A. musae. Libraries were prepared from DNA extracted from historical museum samples in a dedicated ancient DNA laboratory using double indexed Illumina libraries using KAPA Library Preparation kits (Kapa Biosystems, Wilmington, MA, USA) and iNext adapters (Faircloth & Glenn, 2012). Targeted sequence capture was performed on pooled libraries using a custom-designed Acrocephalus specific sequence capture kit. Capture pools were pooled and sequenced using 150 bp paired-end on NovaSeq SP (University of California, Berkeley).
