LC3 microscopy data from ROS-deficient monocytes

The dataset has fluorescence microscopy images of human monocytes obtained from three independent donors and challenged with FITC-labeled Aspergillus fumigatus conidia. Images were acquired under two experimental conditions: untreated controls and ROS-deficient monocytes generated by treatment with the NADPH oxidase inhibitor GSK2795039. A total of 74 images were analyzed (40 control and 34 GSK-treated images). Each image contained a brightfield channel of monocytes, a FITC channel for the conidia, and an LC3 fluorescence channel for assessment of LC3 recruitment around phagocytosed conidia. The dataset was used to compare LC3 recruitment between control and ROS-deficient conditions.
