Circadian rhythms of hemolymph transcriptome in Eriocheir sinensis

Circadian rhythm affects a series of physiological functions of crustaceans. To study the effect of circadian rhythm on metabolism, growth, and immunity of Eriocheir sinensis, a crustacean species with important economic value, we analyzed the hemolymph transcriptome during the day-night cycle by using high-throughput sequencing techniques.Our research is the first comparative transcriptome analysis of crustacean hemolymph during the day-night cycle, which provides multi-level information for studying the mechanism of circadian rhythm of crustaceans in the future.
