Surface-immobilization Methods: To achieve high shape fidelity, we attempted templated immobilization of DNA origami. The HOPG surface properties were modified using covalent functionalization method. Covalent functionalization:Covalent functionalization using the chemical grafting of 4-nitrobenzenediazonium tetrafluoroborate increased the surface roughness of HOPG. Spin-filtered triangular DNA origami was immediately deposited on the functionalized surfaces for AFM imaging. However, these functionalized HOPG surfaces also showed significant structural rearrangement of the DNA nanostructures upon deposition
