Akers Mill is an important historic component of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CHAT), managed by the National Park Service but has several immediate needs as part of ongoing management and stabilization including. In 2013 CyArk and Clemson University collaborated with the National Park Service to provide. Accurate 3D recordation of existing conditions of the Akers Mill Ruins, Assess the site in order to develop a stabilization priority, and provide ongoing access to accurate data and stabilization reports for the management of the site and future creation of additional deliverables.
