Among the Mycobacterium kansasii species, seven subtypes have been described based on the PCR and Restriction fragment length polymorphisms of the gene hsp65. In this study, we performed WGS sequencing of swiss strain collection of M. kansasii and did a comparative genomic analysis of with published sequences on the NCBI.
