English Indices of Deprivation 2010 and 2015 Data Pack

The English indices of deprivation data pack is a copy of several files from multiple sources (see below) and is provided as a convenience, for using with the IMD maps displays on the CDRC Maps website. It provides measures of relative deprivation across England at the LSOA scale, for 2010 and 2015, as mapped on CDRC Maps, as well as 2004 and 2007. The data for 2004, 2007 and 2010 was created by DCLG and for 2015 by OCSI on behalf of DCLG. The English indices of deprivation ranks all LSOAs in England from 1 (most deprived) to 32844 (least deprived) for 2015 and 1 to 32482 for 2004, 2007 and 2010.<br> The following scores for the indices of relative deprivation are provided: Index of Multiple Deprivation, Income, Living Environment, Health, Housing, Education, Employment and Crime. For 2015, two supplementary score indices which are subsets of the Income Deprivation Domain are also provided: Income Deprivation Affecting Children Index (IDACI) and Income Deprivation Affecting Older People Index (IDAOPI).<br> The 2004, 2007 and 2010 IMD uses the 2001 LSOA geography and the 2015 IMD uses the 2011 LSOA geography. As an additional convenience, a file is included which has mapped the 2010 IMD to the 2011 LSOA geography (overall score/rank only) to allow for easier comparison with the 2015 data.
