Meloidogyne graminicola is a facultative meiotic parthenogenetic root-knot nematode (RKN) that seriously threaten agriculture worldwide. To precise the evolutionary history of this species, we sequenced genomes of 12 M. graminicola isolates representing worldwide-spread origins and two isolates of M. oryzae collected from South America. We reconstructed phylogenetic trees based on the mitochondrial genome and ribosomal nuclear DNA cluster.
