Study on key parameters of 68 kA HTS current lead

Abstract: Key parameters of 68 kA high temperature superconducting( HTS) current lead were mainly studied． Firstly，the DC resistance calculation of the superconducting joint box was carried out，the optimization analysis of the heat exchanger and the safety analysis of HTS current lead were done． Moreover，the low － temperature experimental tests were then conducted for further verification． It indicates that the calculated key parameters such as the DC resistance of the superconducting joint box，flow consumption of heat exchanger，the LOFA time ( the safety working time under the loss of flow accident) and Burnout time are in good agreement with the experimental results． This study verifies the accuracy of the calculation and analysis method of key parameters．
