In this dataset, we present the data which is illustrated in the research article "Amplitude- and phase-programmable dual-color photonic chip for high-contrast structured illumination microscopy", which has currently been submitted to Photonics Research. The following datasets are present: Nanobeads images: measurement of PS-Speck P7220 sub-diffraction beads for contrast estimation. Chip characterization curves: splitting ratio - voltage characteristic curve, both at 561 nm and 638 nm, and dephasing - voltage characteristic curves, with both stability and repeatability measurements. HiLo microscopy measurement of Invitrogen prepared slide #3: raw data with uniform and structured illumination, uniform MIP of the z-stack, HiLo stack reconstruction and corresponding MIP. Dual color SIM microscopy measurement of MCF7 cells: raw images with structured pattern at 6 different pattern position, widefield reconstruction and SIM reconstruction, all with both 561 nm and 638 nm illumination wavelength. Images showing pattern generation both at 561 and 638 nm illumination wavelength on top of a fixed sample of MCF7 cells.
