Paving operation (data type 331) in the road register

The data covers the road network maintained by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The data shall be registered whenever a new wear layer has been applied to the width of the lane on both lanes or a two-way road on a road on a 1-track road or a corrective measure suspending the renewal of the wear layer by one or two years. Remedial measures include the positioning of the career and the location of damage. Patches on individual holes or cracks are not taken into account. I.e. all paving operations and uniform sections over 100 metres in length are entered in the road register, which have been restored to good condition by means of a remedy. Uniform sections are entered in the road register in terms of the type of pavement, the working method used and the properties of the material. However, a short (less than 100 m) remedy (UP, UREM, VP) that is not related to any longer entity is not registered.
