Chalk isopachers

The chalky rocks in Flanders were mapped out. This card shows the thickness of the chalk rocks. These are the rocks that were deposited in the Cretaceous period and the Tertiary Formation of Houthem. Maps were drawn up within the project: one card with the depth of the top, one with the depth of the base and one showing the thickness of the Cretaceous.
