"Capturing a sea elephant for the San Diego Zoo: Old trumpeter of the sea -- Giant sea elephants, nearly extinct a few years ago, now are found in large numbers on Guadalupe Island off the coast of Lower California. The nose of the male is elongated in a proboscus."
