The STEW dataset comprises raw EEG recordings from 48 participants in a multitasking workload experiment, as well as their baseline brain activity at rest. Captured using the Emotiv Epoc device with 14 channels and a sampling frequency of 128Hz, each case consists of 2.5 minutes of EEG recording. The dataset is divided into cross-validation folds based on individual participants and is labeled into two classes based on workload ratings, with ratings above 4 classified as high and those below or equal to 4 as low. It contains 28,512 multivariate time series samples, each of length 256, representing 2 seconds of data.
