Images from an Archaeological Evaluation at 87 High Street, Barwell, Leicestershire, November 2021

This digital archive contains 11 images from an Archaeological Evaluation undertaken by Groundworks Archaeology, at 87 High Street, Barwell, Leicestershire, LE9 8 DS. Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council granted planning consent for the Demolition of existing buildings and erection of 4 dwellings. A planning condition required the implementation of an archaeological evaluation to inform the planning process which was undertaken on the 25th and 26th November 2021. This comprised of three trial trenches measuring respectively 22m, 16.80m and 14m in length by 1.60m wide.
