WEE1 inhibitors are a class of anti-cancer agents that target the WEE1 kinase to abrogate the G2/M cell cycle checkpoint, resulting in DNA damage accumulation, premature mitotic entry, and catastrophe. WEE1 inhibition has been recently emerged as a promising therapy for advanced tumors of various origins. We performed RNA sequencing analysis of human lung cancer cell lines H1299 treated with or without WEE1 kinase inhibitor AZD1775, to identify potential therapeutic targets. H1299 cells were treated with DMSO (H1299_AZD_0_1, H1299_AZD_0_2 and H1299_AZD_0_3) or AZD1775 (0.5uM, H1299_AZD_1_1, H1299_AZD_1_2 and H1299_AZD_1_3) for 48 h.
