资源简介:
Network of ST/MST (Stratosphere-Troposphere/Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere) radars and balloon-borne measurement Campaigns of the Asian Summer Monsoon Anticyclone (NetRAD-ASMA)’ Phase-I (winter campaign) was conducted during 12-16 February 2024 with a focal-point at Indian sub-tropical station Balasore (21.5oN, 86.9oE). This campaign was conducted by the Space Physics Laboratory, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in collaboration with (1) Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC)-Balasore Rocket Launching Station (BRLS), Balasore , (2) University of Calcutta (CU), Kolkata, (3) National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL), Gadanki, (4) Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Nainital, and (5) Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi. Over Balasore, 9 radiosondes and 5 ozonesondes integrated radiosonde were launched at an interval of 6 hours. During the campaign period, radiosondes and ozonesondes were also launched from three other locations, i.e., Gadanki, Nainital, Silkheda, and Trivandrum. In addition, regular radiosondes were launched by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) from Kolkata, Pune, and Kochi, which have also been used to get the background information. Simultaneously, Stratosphere-Troposphere (ST) and Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere (MST) radars were operated for 8 hrs (~9-17 IST) during the campaign period at Haringhata, Nainital, Gadanki, and Kochi. These radars were also operated for 32 hrs (Diurnal) with an interval of one hour from 13 to 14 February 2024.
The present data sets has analysed radar data (Gadanki, Nainital, Haringhata, Kochi) along with radiosonde and ozonesonde data.
