Long-term climate risk trends in the Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve and their implications for baobab (Adansonia digitata) conservation, Zambezi Valley, Zimbabwe.
收藏资源简介:
This record contains supplementary materials associated with the manuscript entitled “Long-term climate risk trends in the Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve and their implications for baobab (Adansonia digitata) conservation, Zambezi Valley, Zimbabwe.” The dataset and supporting files include climate trend visualisations and spatial information used to analyse long-term climatic variability in the Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve (MZBR) in northern Zimbabwe. The materials support an analysis of climate variables derived from the NASA POWER/MERRA-2 reanalysis dataset covering the period 1984–2024. Statistical analyses were conducted using linear regression, Mann–Kendall trend tests, and Sen’s slope estimation to evaluate temporal trends in precipitation, relative humidity, dew point temperature, and maximum and minimum temperatures. These materials support the interpretation of warming trends in semi-arid ecosystems of southern Africa.
