We report outcomes our randomised, blinded, placebo-controlled clinical trial of patients who received lyophilised FMT for ulcerative colitis and characterise bacteriome and mycobiome changes associated with therapeutic outcomes following FMT. We assess the microbiome changes in patients undergoing faecal microbiota transplantation for ulcerative colitis. The bacterial component of the microbiota was amplified using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing (Earth Microbiome primers).
