Identification of failure modes in tapered composite laminate specimens

In this experiment, six pristine and six embedded delamination tapered composite laminate specimens were tested. High-speed imaging (PCC) equipment was used to capture videos at various frame rates and resolutions. The recorded videos were subsequently exported at playback frame rates of 10 fps and 1 fps. The 10 fps format was used to visualize the overall failure process, while the 1 fps format provided a clearer view for analyzing specific stages of damage evolution.
